I hear orchids are hard to grow, keep and maintain. I tried anyway because I love them. They're so architectural and sleek. I've wanted a white orchid for so long (to go along with my black and white bathroom). Now, I just have to go out and buy orchid mix. They love humidity and steam...because of this, I take longer, hotter showers. I think that might be the anti-contribution of Earth Hour or going green. Fingers crossed, I hope my flower thrives.

my mother was an orchid whore, good luck with it :)
i killed my roommate's orchid when i was supposed to be taking care of it in january. i think she hates me now.
